Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. Repeated turning or working may affect the digital print, always test your processes on a sample first. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

Unlike most duffle bags on the market that are machine-made by the thousands, our custom duffle bags are handmade to order in our own facility. This means that your bag has the care and attention of skilled print technicians and leatherworkers. Once you have designed your bags, our industry-leading printers get to work printing onto genuine Nappa leather. Our team of leatherworkers then cut, shape and stitch your bag to life using the thread and hardware colours selected when you designed your personalised duffle bag. To ensure maximum attention to detail the edges of the handles, and their teardrop tabs, zip pullers, the black side strip and leather trim on the strap are all hand-painted. This luxury feature is to ensure the edges are waterproof whilst remaining flexible. After a final quality check we send your bag for delivery.
When you design your own duffle bags, you will have access to four customisable sides to upload your photos, images, and even text. You can even make each side different to tell a narrative through images of your journey together. You will also be able to customise the leather options and the hardware and stitch colour: Choose between cream, grey, or charcoal thread and gunmetal, nickel, or gold colour metal hardware.
The handles, the tear drop tabs, the strips and the D ring tabs at the sides, the base panel, the strap loops, all zip pullers, as well as the internal pocket trims will always be made from smooth black Nappa. The duffle bag design also includes a strip of black Nappa leather down the middle of the side panels. These details provide an interesting and timeless contrast, however we recommend taking this into consideration when designing your custom duffle bag.
If your design includes solid blocks of dark colours, you might notice some creasing of the leather. No worries - this just because of how the leather is curved to create your bag.
