To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
You can customise the leather texture, hardware colour, and thread colour of your bucket backpack. All of the other accents and functional bits, such as the straps, drawstring and tabs, base, and closure tabs will be made from a smooth black Nappa leather. This will complement your design effortlessly. The hardware on your backpack is made from quality, durable metal with a polished finish. Every detail of the bag, including the leather accents and hardware, is expertly made by leather goods specialists to create a top-quality accessory.
The leather straps on your personalised drawstring backpack are adjustable. There are five lengths starting at 72cm and increasing to 76cm. The width of the straps is 1.1cm, and the straps thread through the other side of the bag so that it stays closed when you carry it on your back. The bag itself measures 23cm wide, 25.5cm tall, and 11cm deep. It's the perfect size to carry what you need without weighing you down.
When it comes to leather bags, it's all in the details. We use a dye sublimation technique to print your photos and designs onto the leather. This technique ensures your designs are long-lasting and are as strong as the leather itself. Our leather workers and craftspeople cut the leather to size and shape the bucket backpack, adding the black leather accents as they go. We use your chosen hardware and thread colours to create a personalised drawstring backpack that represents you. Everything is finished off with hand-painted edges to secure the leather. Your custom drawstring backpack goes through a thorough quality check before we send it to you to enjoy. All of this is done by specialists at our bespoke facility.
When designing your custom drawstring backpack, keep in mind how the leather gathers at the top for the bag to open and close. If you print important parts of your design at the top near the closure, you might find that someone's face becomes hidden in the folds. To prevent this, we recommend keeping the crucial parts of your designs towards the centre of the bag.
