Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
We print directly onto the leather using the most up to date methods. This infuses even the finest detail into the fibres of the leather, which makes your prints as strong as the leather itself. This is then cut to size and shape by our craftsmen, before being hand-stitched by expert seamstresses. The outside edges are then hand-painted to ensure that they are waterproof, whilst also making them highly durable. All taking place here on-site in our bespoke facility.
Care: The 100% real Nappa leather develops a natural, creased patina over time, which adds to the charm and authenticity. Keep clean with occasional surface wipes using a slightly damp cloth. Your personalised leather bank card and credit card holder is custom printed, manually cut to size and hand sewn by our team of expert artisans.
If you want symmetrical leather card cases, simply upload your image to one side, click to design the other side but press 'Copy Side'. This will transfer the same image as it is onto the other side, so go onto Effects and select 'Mirrored Design'. Drag your photo across until the mirrored version comes into view and position accordingly. There are two pockets on either side as well as a central section. The pocketed section is black and sits at the top of your leather card case, above the print. Be mindful of this when creating your design, especially if you are using photos with faces, as you don't want important features like eyes being cropped out.
