    Fabric options

Colour reproduction on the real silk satin & silk Georgette will be intense due to our specialist printing method. As these are 100% natural fabrics, no chemicals have been used on the fibres. You could also opt for the poly-blend fabrics for similarly rich colours. If opting for Mulmul Muslin, please note that this fabric has a naturally loose yarn, which can help give designs a slight rustic aesthetic. This does not in anyway impact the quality of the print, and merely adds to the natural charming qualities of the fabric. As Mulmul has quite loose yarns, you might find that there are slight colour and intensity variations. This would be apparent in parts where the tread is looser. We believe this natural attribute helps give designs a gorgeous, almost vintage finish. Make a Collage

If you can’t decide on which photo to use, you can upload multiple images and create a photo collage. This can be done using one of our pre-set montage templates, or you can create your own entirely from scratch. It’s super easy to do and the possibilities are endless.

How to add your collage to your product

Step 1 – Click the start design button & select your product options.

Step 2 – Go to the ‘Images & Text Tools’ tab, click the ‘add images/Text’ button on your product & ‘Select Images to Upload’ or use the Facebook/Instagram tabs.

Step 3 – Choose the images you want to use for your collage, upload & select them from the uploaded photos list.

Step 4 – Click ‘Create montage’ & select your collage style.

Step 5 – Add the collage to your design.

    Hints and Tips

    • The more images you add to your collage the smaller each image will be. Fewer images will be larger and give you more clarity and detail.
    • The more people in an image, the less detail there will be. If you have 10 images of a group of five friends, each person will be smaller than if you have 10 images of just one person.
    • Try to make sure that the longest side of each image is around 10 centimetres. There is a handy ruler built into the design tool to help you with this.
    • Smaller products will not be able to fit as many images as larger ones will.

    Printed and stitched by hand

Handmade by our expert seamstresses, hijabs printed with your own unique designs are a beautiful gift for yourself or a loved one. We use a specialist printing technique that fuses the ink deep into the fibres of the fabric, creating a vibrant print so your designs will look stunning. We finish the edges with a hemming style of your choice, either baby hem or 3-thread overlock. Baby hem uses 8mm of material on each side, folded twice then a top stitch approximately 2-3mm from the edge. The 3 thread overlock trims off 3mm fabric, and has an overlock edge stitch.

Please note: As all of our scarves are handmade to order, there will be some variance in the dimensions, measurements, and shape of the scarf. The premium fabrics we use are naturally delicate and beautifully soft in nature, therefore, the edges of your headscarf can be wavy. A predictable amount of shrinkage is likely to occur, this is normal and to be expected, and will be more apparent in the natural fabrics. Please be aware that natural fabrics have a higher shrinkage than poly fabrics, and allow for this when placing your order. Average shrinkage is 2-8%. Note when selecting the Mulmul Muslin its naturally open weave may cause slight colour variations. This is natural and adds a vintage feel. Due to the delicate nature of the Mulmul Soft Muslin fabric, some pulls are to be expected and this is not out of the ordinary, but adds character to your one-of-a-kind piece.

    Hijabs Design Inspiration

You can design your own hijab collection so you have one to wear for any situation. Print vivid colours and patterns for a vibrant evening hijab and make it your statement accessory, or design a monogrammed headscarf featuring your name, nickname, or favourite quote to express your beliefs and show off your personality at the same time. Another idea is to have hijabs themed with the flag of the country you live in, or the flag of any country that you consider home. There are no minimums, so design one personalised hijab and see how it turns out, or you could design a whole range for all the ladies in your life, or a collection of hijabs for a themed wedding.
