Making Espadrille Loafers
We have years of shoe making experience, where we combine traditional methods with the latest print and design technologies. To create your loafers, we use two fabrics: Haverstock canvas for the exterior and natural cotton for the interior. The canvas is a man-made material that has the beautiful natural look of linen, complete with slub weaves. It is a durable and hard-wearing textile that will help preserve the life of your espadrille loafers. Inside, we use natural cotton. This is a breathable and moisture-wicking fabric that will keep your feet feeling cool and fresh. Once you have uploaded your photos into our design interface, our team of technicians carefully check them before printing them onto the fabric. This is then cut to size and your choice of trim colours is added, as is the Porcine leather, printed fabric, or natural jute sole (your choice). Finally, the fabric is bonded onto the jute and rubber base, and your espadrilles are complete.Design each and every part
The body of your shoe is made from one piece of fabric. This gives you a relatively large surface area to print on. If you are printing just one photo, use our design interface to ensure the most important details are on the front - and hence the largest - part of the shoe. Please also keep in mind the stitching of your shoe. Keep key features as centred as possible and away from the edge, so they do not get incorporated into the stitching.
Photo Inspiration
Shoes can say a lot about your personal style, and your personality. Make sure that your new flat espadrilles shoes reflect that. As they are suitable for both men and women, why not create a cute matching pair for you and your other half? Print your face on their shoes and their face on yours. You could even print one face per shoe, so when they are worn you see the complete couple. This would make such a memorable and heartfelt anniversary gift. Design a pair of espadrilles for your wedding party. The bridesmaids and groomsmen can all be given a personalised pair of shoes as a unique way to say "thank you." Imagine how great the wedding photos will look when everyone wears their shoes all together.
