Care instructions

Turn inside out before washing. 30°c wash. Do not wring. Low heat iron, Iron on the reverse of the printed side. Do not tumble dry.

Fabric Options for Cut and Sew T Shirts

160gsm Jersey Fabric

This is a sleek and lightweight Jersey, perfect if you’re looking for a looser t shirt. Our Jersey fabrics are suited to all weathers, so come rain or shine, this breathable lightweight top will keep you comfortable. Colours are given a slightly muted finish, which will give your t-shirt a stylish vintage inspired look. Repeat patterns work best over solid blocks of colour. Also, this fabric is resistant to shrinking, over-stretching and creasing.
Care: Machine wash at 30°c, medium tumble or hang dry. Iron and steam safe.

200gsm Soft Fashion Jersey Fabric

This is one of our heavier weight Jersey knits and makes a gorgeous fabric for ladies’ t shirts. The drape is floaty and cascades beautifully and the fabric clings like a second skin to accentuate the body's natural curves.
Care: Machine wash at 30°c, medium tumble or hang dry. Iron and steam safe.

245gsm Fluid Velour

High-stretch fabric with a ripple and shine. This knitted fabric is a plush textile with a sheen and mesh-like construct. It has a short pile with a super-soft face and a soft touch back for a smooth, delicate feeling on the skin. Ideal for clothing with a slight glisten when it catches the light.
Care: Machine washes at 30°c, medium tumble or hangs dry. Iron and steam safe.

Why Cut and Sew Is Useful

"I really love them and would definitely use the service again. It's also extremely convenient having fabric printed and garments made in one place rather than two - saves the trouble of transporting and it's nice to be dealing with one set of people rather than two. On top of that, details such as being able to print the ribbing make the final garment a bit more special and considered so designers can price items a little bit higher than a more ordinary t-shirt. I see a good future in it! Will definitely mention it to a few people whom I think may be interested for themselves. The price is very reasonable considering what it would normally cost to print fabric and then have it manufacture so I really think it would interest small fashion labels."

Measure around your fullest part, with the measuring tape under your armpits, making sure the tape is flat across your back.

Cut and Sew T-Shirt Printing

The t-shirt printing process used to create the custom t-shirts is the most up to date technology. Your photos and designs and printed all over your chosen fabric. During this edge-to-edge printing, the inks are penetrated deep into the fibres of the fabric. This ensures the print is permanent and colours won’t fade. Once each part of your design is printed, the fabric pieces are then sewn together by hand to create your truly bespoke garment.

Handy Tip: Keep important photo features away from the edges so they don’t get sewn into the hem. Make sure your design covers the bleed area to avoid being left with white gaps. Apart from that, the t-shirt is your oyster.
