How to Care for Sports Mesh Fabric

You'll be pleased to know this is a deceptively hard-wearing material that isn't too fussy, so if you're making some sportswear for the kids or an event, you don't need to worry about getting mucky. Pop it in the washing machine at 30°, tumble dry on medium or hang dry and if you need to, it's iron safe! It shouldn't pil, but if you're worried about it getting bobbly, wash inside out using a fabric conditioner to separate the fibres.

How Can I Use Sports Fabric?

Due to the breathable qualities and airy nature, this breathable mesh fabric is perfect to wear for any activity where you'll be working up a sweat. Make a pretty dance leotard to wear with leggings or, if you've got a favourite jacket that you want to line with a funky pattern, use airflow light mesh.

Whatever your DIY clothing or craft project you've got planned, experiment with this soft, comfy and cool airflow light mesh material.

Make a Collage

If you can’t decide on which photo to use, you can upload multiple images and create a photo collage. This can be done using one of our pre-set montage templates, or you can create your own entirely from scratch. It’s super easy to do and the possibilities are endless.

How to add your collage to your product

Step 1 – Click the start design button & select your product options.

Step 2 – Go to the ‘Images & Text Tools’ tab, click the ‘add images/Text’ button on your product & ‘Select Images to Upload’ or use the Facebook/Instagram tabs.

Step 3 – Choose the images you want to use for your collage, upload & select them from the uploaded photos list.

Step 4 – Click ‘Create montage’ & select your collage style.

Step 5 – Add the collage to your design.

Hints and Tips

  • The more images you add to your collage the smaller each image will be. Fewer images will be larger and give you more clarity and detail.
  • The more people in an image, the less detail there will be. If you have 10 images of a group of five friends, each person will be smaller than if you have 10 images of just one person.
  • Try to make sure that the longest side of each image is around 10 centimetres. There is a handy ruler built into the design tool to help you with this.
  • Smaller products will not be able to fit as many images as larger ones will.

How Does Mesh Printing Work?

We use a specialist dye sublimation printing process that binds the ink to the fabric. This ensures your designs will not peel away or scratch off over time. Our team of print technicians and seamstresses work hard to give your customised mesh airflow fabric a superb finish. Depending on your DIY clothing project needs, we provide four edge options: cut on the line; hemmed with white thread; hemmed with black thread or just as it comes. It's a wonderfully soft fabric that looks and feels great on the skin. Due to the natural white base of the fabric and matt surface, your colours are bold and bright without any disruption to the design.

Important: For hemming and shrinkage information, please make sure your refer to our guidelines. This is essential for when measuring your fabric.
